A Family of Wilcoxes

This is my family. Wilcoxes.

This family got its start in the 1950-somethings when my grandparents, called Oma and Ompa because of our minuscule, yet proud Dutch heritage, got married.  Soon their were three bouncy, flaming redheads boys: Jeff, Kurt, and Kris. My uncles, Kris and Jeff, both have 6 kids. I am the youngest of Kurt's 3 children.

Between those brothers there are nearly 100 years of marriage and almost 20 kids (including the ones who married in). There are no great-grandchildren to speak of, yet.

Though these families have lived in different states for most of our growing up years, we certainly have grown close as we've grown up.  From Christmas Days at Oma and Ompa's to going to high school together, and from writing and performing plays to planning weddings, we've loved each other and learned from each other.

This blog will be composed of some of the best learned lessons, greatest memories, and quirky traditions that make our family so fantastic!
